El COE aumenta a 16 las provincias en alerta por las lluvias
SANTO DOMINGO. En su boletín de la tarde de este lunes, el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencias (COE) amplió la alerta verde para 16 provincias, para prevenir inundaciones y posibles deslizamientos de tierra.
Según el COE, el parte Meteorológico indica que a partir desde este lunes habrá aguaceros, tronadas y ráfagas de viento, en gran parte del territorio, durante las próximas 24 a 48 horas.

El organismo emitió alerta verde para Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, San José de Ocoa, María Trinidad Sánchez, Duarte (en especial el Bajo Yuna) Santiago Rodríguez y Puerto Plata
De igual manera, Barahona, Elías Piña, Pedernales, Montecristi, Dajabón, Valverde, San Juan de la Maguana, San Cristóbal y Espaillat.
Ante la intensidad que se espera en las lluvias, el COE llama a los ciudadanos a mantenerse alertas a los boletines emitidos por el organismo. También a tomar las precauciones necesarias para mantenerse a salvo de los aguaceros y sus consecuencias.
