Santo Domingo.- Ana Josefa Cabrera (Fefita La Grande) es una artista singular y así lo demostró una vez más durante su concierto ofrecido en los jardines del Palacio de Bellas Artes, donde se celebra desde el jueves la Feria Nacional de Proyectos Culturales, organizada por el Ministerio de Cultura.
Su actuación en la tarima exterior de Bellas Artes fue ovacionada por el nutrido público.
No solo se disfrutó de su música, sino de sus anécdotas que dejaban como abono a los presentes el optimismo que derrocha esta emblemática artista del folclor dominicano.
Ella, al igual que otros artistas, como Danny Rivera, Kinito Méndez, Diomary La Mala, Maridalia Hernández, José Peña Suazo, Covi Quintana, y otros, decidieron apoyar la celebración de la feria que concluye el domingo 7 de agosto.
La soberana de la música típica interpretó varios temas de su repertorio como “Vamos a hablar inglés”, “Te menea o te apea”, “Si quiere venir que venga”, que eran bailados por muchos de los asistentes que halaron a su pareja para seguir el ritmo.
Pero no solo la música suya divertía, a niños, jóvenes y adultos lo entretenía también la forma de ella contar su historia de vida, sus anécdotas, en el discurrir de su carrera artística.
También el público disfrutó el histrionismo de la merenguera típica, que bailaba al ritmo de cada pieza musical, y que respondía ocasionándole una y otra vez. Entre los espectadores estaban el ministro de Cultura, José Antonio Rodríguez, y la viceministra Edilí Pichardo.
La popular cantante y acordeonista subió a tarima con su “Soberano en mano”, del que dijo esperaba y merecía. De inmediato, agradeció al público por el cariño que le han brindado a lo largo de su exitosa carrera, que la ha llevado a distintos países, por donde ha paseado su música y puesto en alto el nombre de la República Dominicana.
En la parte artística del jueves, en la Feria de Proyectos Culturales, también se presentó la Escuela de Música Típica Ramón Martínez, de Bayona, Santo Domingo Oeste, que ofreció un concierto en tarima de los jardines del Palacio de Bellas Artes, dentro de la programación de la Primera Feria de Proyectos Culturales, que concluye este domingo.
Como parte del espectáculo, se presentaron seis niños y adolescentes ejecutando el acordeón, acompañados de un saxofón, un bajo, tambora, conga y cantante, que deleitaron a un público entusiasta que disfrutó de temas diversos.
En la actividad, inaugurada el pasado miércoles, se exponen los resultados de unos 200 proyectos culturales que a nivel nacional cuentan con el apoyo del Gobierno a través del Ministerio de Cultura.
El pasado jueves, se presentaron resultados de proyectos como conversatorio sobre los libros: Apuntes para una historia de Montecristi, Sabaneta 170 años de Historia y Heroísmo, y ganadores del Primer Concurso Provincial de Obras Literarias, a cargo de la Dirección del Libro y la Lectura, actividades desarrolladas en la Sala A de la Galería Nacional de Bellas Artes.
Otra actividad relacionada con los proyectos culturales fue la presentación Promoción de teatro San Juan con la obra “La Muerte de Alfredo Gris”.
