Acroarte celebró las primeras reuniones evaluativas de Premio Soberano 2018
SANTO DOMINGO. El reloj y el cronograma de los Premios Soberano 2018 comenzaron a correr este fin de semana con las primeras reuniones evaluativas celebradas por la Asociación de Cronistas de Arte (Acroarte) con la participación militante de los miembros de los tres jurados que comprenden estos galardones que organiza junto a Cervecería Nacional Dominicana (CND).
Desde el jueves pasado –incluyendo el sábado y domingo– los jurados atendieron al llamado del Comité Ejecutivo que dirige la periodista Emelyn Baldera, y que estuvo en sesión permanente para analizar los primeros seis meses del año en el área Clásica, Popular y Comunicación, que abarcan cine, televisión, música, teatro y otras artes clásicas.
De esta manera, Premio Soberano entra en un proceso evaluativo con la intención de obtener una selección justa de nominados. Luego de agotar esta agenda en el fin de semana, Acroarte convocará a los jurados a la segunda sesión de reuniones evaluativas para el mes de diciembre.
Premios Soberano ha reconocido lo mejor del arte y la cultura dominicana por 33 años consecutivos gracias a Acroarte y Cervecería Nacional Dominicana (CND).
“Siempre será importante implementar cambios que ayuden a que los procesos sean más transparentes y democráticos en procura de un mejor resultado, en esta oportunidad hemos implementado la ampliación del equipo de coordinación de jurados. Antes, esta tarea recaía en los hombros de una sola persona, ahora, tenemos un equipo integrado por no menos de cinco personas encargadas de hacer los levantamientos de datos sobre las áreas a evaluar. Estoy muy confiada y así lo han manifestado los jurados, en que en esta ocasión tendremos un gran resultado al dar a conocer los nominados, gracias a esta nueva fórmula que estamos implementando”, explicó Emelyn Baldera, presidente de Acroarte.
Así mismo, Baldera informó que en esta oportunidad se han ampliado los jurados, de manera que podamos contar con la valoración, aportes y experiencia de voces importantes de miembros de la entidad. En el área Popular, por ejemplo, en el año 2013 este jurado estaba compuesto por 55 personas, y en el 2015 por 56, sin embargo, en este 2017 este jurado está integrado por 72 personas. De igual manera sucede en el área de Comunicación: en 2013 contaba con 80 miembros, en 2015 lo integraban 83 en 2016 eran 77, mientras que en esta ocasión el nuevo Comité Ejecutivo convocó a un jurado integrado por 87 periodistas.
“Es importante poder contar con el apoyo de todos los acroartistas que puedan colaborar con su experiencia para lograr una buena selección de nominados, esa es nuestra misión y estoy confiada que lo lograremos”, sostuvo Baldera.
En las categorías de cine, uno de los renglones de mayor actividad en los últimos años en el mercado dominicano, críticos y periodistas especializados destacaron el trabajo de calidad que se está produciendo en el país, combinado esto con la cantidad de películas que se estrenan cada año. Hasta el 31 de agosto, un total de 15 producciones nacionales se han estrenado con factura local, abarcando una diversidad de géneros y estilos.
En lo que se refiere a la música, miembros de Acroarte repasaron en la jornada del domingo los conciertos, los álbumes, las canciones –merengue, bachata, salsa, urbano y rock–, espectáculos y artistas de mayor popularidad, tomando en cuenta el primer semestre del 2017. Lo mismo sucedió el sábado 2 de septiembre, cuando se reunió el jurado del renglón Comunicación, que galardona lo mejor de la televisión.
“Creo que Acroarte tiene el reto de avanzar y motivar ese mismo impulso en la premiación que no solo es de Acroarte y CND, sino del pueblo dominicano. En esa dirección, estamos contemplando la posibilidad de abrir nuevas categorías que nos permitan darle al premio un nuevo aire y así conectar con nuevas audiencias, nuevos renglones como parte de los procesos de cambio experimentados tanto en la música como en la comunicación “, informó.
