Luis Abinader promete tomar “medidas drásticas” con relación al tema haitiano
Santo Domingo.-El presidente Luis Abinader pidió a los países que prometieron apoyo económico para la Misión Multinacional de Apoyo a la Seguridad en Haití o que “tuvieron incidencia” en su Historia que cumplan con lo acordado y aporten el dinero que falta para poder llevar a 2,000 el número de soldados desplegados.
El mandatario dijo que esa es la cantidad necesaria para hacer que la misión sea efectiva e hizo una advertencia sobre lo que haría si esta falla en su objetivo: “Un fracaso podría implicar la necesidad de adoptar medidas drásticas para proteger nuestra seguridad nacional”.
“Es inaceptable que a estas alturas algunos de los países que han tenido incidencia en la situación haitiana o que se han comprometido con su solución, no hayan cumplido plenamente con sus promesas. Mientras la seguridad nacional de mi país esté implicada, no cesaré de reclamar por la estabilidad de Haití”, expresó.
