Luis Abinader anuncia 1.26 millón estudiantes recibirán kit escolar
Santo Domingo.-El presidente Luis Abinader afirmó que la utilería escolar llegará completa y a tiempo a todos los estudiantes a escala nacional de cara al próximo año escolar 2024-2025, beneficiando a más de 720 mil familias y un ahorro por kit de RD$5,000 en polocher, pantalón, medias, zapatos, mochilas, cuadernos, regla, lápiz y cartabones.
Resaltó que hasta la fecha más de 1,267,643 kits han sido entregados y han sido impactados 4,722 centros educativos al nivel nacional a través del Instituto Nacional de Bienestar Estudiantil (INABIE).
Señaló que gracias a los diferentes programas, se ha logrado impactar positivamente la alimentación y la salud visual, bucal y auditiva de niños y jóvenes, a quienes además se les continúa entregando útiles escolares y uniformes para que puedan acceder a la educación, lo que ha reducido la pobreza monetaria en 4.4 puntos porcentuales.
