Hoy juicio a diputada por lavado de activos
Santo Domingo.-Los jueces de la Segunda Sala Penal de la Suprema Corte de Justicia (SCJ) inician hoy juicio a la diputada Rosa Amalia Pilarte, acusada de lavado de activos proveniente de narcotráfico, que encabeza Pablo Antonio Martínez Javier, prófugo, y su esposo Miguel Arturo López (Micky López).
El juez presidente de la sala, Francisco Jerez Mena, fijó para hoy a las 10:00 de la mañana, para que la legisladora del Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), por la Vega, responda en un juicio los hechos que le imputa el Ministerio Público, tras ser acusarla de lavar más 4,000 millones de pesos provenientes del narcotráfico.
La legisladora es procesada en la jurisdicción privilegiada por su condición de diputado.
De acuerdo, la acusación del Ministerio Público, representado por Pedro Amador, estableció que la diputada se prestó para colocar en el mercado financiero más de 2,593 millones de pesos provenientes de actividades de narcotráfico de la red que encabeza su pareja Miky López, y no ha podido justificar la integración a la economía de esa alta suma de dinero.
